Panel discussion

Hosted in the Le Majlis, the panel titled ‘Women and Design’, moderated by co-curator of “Here We Are! Women in Design 1900 – Today” at the Vitra Design Museum, Nina Steinmüller brought together co-founder of Oaza collective, Maja Kolar, co-founder of AWARE, Camille Morineau and our founder, Khensani Jurczok-de Klerk. The discussion explored the role of women in design, their lack of recognition and highlighted the importance of continuous discussion around their experiences and achievements in creative industries today. Khensani shared our contributions within the field addressing these challenges, particularly with a focus on spatial education, collectivising and mixed-media archives.
